Starting today, coding with AZMX Auto — the default model in AZMX AI — is free. You don't need an API key and you don't need an account. Install the app, open a folder, and tell the AI what you want to build.

What AZMX is

AZMX AI is a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux. It puts an AI chat, a terminal and a code editor in one window. You describe what you want; the AI proposes changes and asks before it makes them. There is also a command-line tool, azmx, which uses the same free cloud model.

Your other options

AZMX Auto is the easy default, not the only choice. You can bring your own key for Claude, OpenAI, Gemini and other providers and pay them directly. Or, if you prefer, run a model locally on your own computer.

Your privacy

Your code and files stay on your computer. When you use AZMX Cloud (AZMX Auto), the messages you send to the AI pass through AZMX's gateway to our cloud AI provider to get an answer; we don't sell them or train on them. With your own key, requests go to that provider. With Local-Only mode on, nothing leaves your computer. Read the details on our privacy page.
